Overview:

Interns will work directly with the recreation technician to maintain and improve recreation facilities and infrastructure on the Fremont River Ranger District

9 Week position

Government housing is not available

Position Responsibilities:

Providing assistance on building three bridges and 400 feet of boardwalk, clearing trails of rock, trees and creating a sustainable trail through water bars and proper trail maintenance.

Qualifications:

  1. Good communication and interpersonal skills 2. Experience working outdoors 3. Ability to navigate across landscapes with the use of map and GPS 4. Ability to Hike and lift and carry heavy loads (up to 80 pounds)
